When you hire a caricature artist to your event, you literally bring life to your event. There are a number of benefits you receive when you call them for your fundraisers, parties or even corporate events.
For this to work out well for your guests and the caricature artist as well, there are some tips you need to follow:
You need to have a well-shaded area for the artist to work in or a place indoors works well too. The reason is that it will be comfortable for the artist to work in a shaded area and the subjects too will not need to squint whenever they are in bright light. Also, they will be able to give a natural smile when they are in a comfortable position and not being blinded by the sun. If there is bright sunlight, the artist too will have a problem working on a white paper due to the reflection and also due to the extreme shadows which are caused.
The caricature artists need to be placed away from loud noises as they usually talk to the persons they are drawing so as to capture their personality. They ask them their hobbies, their interests and they will tell them jokes – all so as to capture their authentic, unique expressions. If there is loud noise, this interaction will not be possible.
The caricature artists can work on a maximum of 10 faces an hour. However, if there are too many people waiting in line, the artist will feel pressured, and if the people are not aware of these artists, the artists will need to wait for a very long time before they can get draw another person.
If you have something special to be done, like having the costume of your superhero or your team logo, you should have that ready for the caricature artist. Most of them are well-versed in pop culture but having this ready is a great help too.
